However, this ad is using this situational nightmare as the basis for their ad. This is clearly because this is something that is possible and is something that could potentially financially destroy someone. While it is unlikely that this could happen, but the fact that it could happen is enough of a basis for someone to want to be insured over this. This is where they outshine their competition. This ad uses the personification of mayhem and an extremely unlikely but plausible situations to sell their services. Source   The main character in this ad is the literal personification of mayhem and in the Allstate ads he causes these extremely disastrous situations. Shortly after these disasters they say, "if you have the wrong the wrong insurance coverage this could leave a mark". This is their main selling

Image
As peculiar as it may sound, I feel there is actually a significant amount of thought and effort behind mints. It is definitely something we often overlook without much thought. However, if we take the time to examine mints, we can quickly learn that there is actually a phenomenal amount of thought behind mints. Everything, from how the mints are packaged, to how they melt in our mouths is designed purposely, and with great effort. My goal with this blog is to inform you of these efforts and elaborate on how even a mint is designed to appeal to our innate sense of adventure. I mean think about it! When is the last time you only had one mint?!   Source      Most mints come in beautiful aluminum cans that are vibrant and sophisticated in look. The smoothness of the metal is like no other and it always has a cold metal feel to it. This is on purpose to create this amazing, story like experience with their product. It is almost like a treasure chest holding this delicious treat that ma

Will A.I. Eventually Take Over The Workforce? (Blog #2)

Image
What impact will A.I. have on the workforce in 20 years? 20 years ago, A.I. was only a concept in science fiction and no one really gave it too much thought, but now A.I. is becoming an extremely valuable and well known thing.  For example, "Chat GPT" has become a very controversial topic in recent years. This is because students have been using it to "cheat" on essays and writing assignments. However, I feel that this is just the beginning of A.I.. I think A.I. will eventually have the ability to replace a lot of careers in the near future, and honestly that sounds quite scary. Yet on the bright side, I also feel it is possible for A.I. to create new and innovative jobs as well! Source     According to a survey that Harvard did, 52% of " 5,700 Harvard Business School alumni"  said that companies are less likely to hire people 3 years from now. This is assumed to be because of A.I.. I think that the argument that A.I. is going to have a massive effe

Did you know playing an instrument is proven to help improve brain function? As if this is not enough of a reason to learn an instrument already, I hope I can convince you to at the bare minimum to at least consider it! As someone who has been playing guitar for a little over a year, I love it and consider it to be one of the best endeavors I have ever pursued. It has taught me so many important lessons such as, not everything will come easy, and great things take great time and effort. How Do Blogs Stay Relevant?

Image
Do you know what 80% of the  top 10 blogs  have in common? Drama! Drama can be found in almost every blog on the  top 50 blogs , and it makes sense. There is nothing more eye grabbing then seeing what our role models were caught doing or what controversy they are currently involved in. Us humans are very judgmental creatures and when we see others doing idiotic and ignorant things it makes us feel better about our own short comings. We have evolved to love drama. When we see drama we feel our input is needed so we have an effect on the world around us. It is our way of slightly shaping the world the way we would like. So where should we draw the line on what drama is too invasive and what drama is not? It is not an easy question, but I will give you my input as you form your own.     TMZ  for an example, is my idea of an organization going too far with drama. They posted about an actor who was on "Hannah Montana" and was caught in public intoxicated. This is the titl
